Hers and His - A flying couple's Logbook Covers

Rachel commissioned a logbook cover for herself, and as a surprise gift for husband Greg.  As respected Dairy Farmers, and helicopter pilots, flying is a great way to oversee their dairy interests.

Sparrowhawk Leather's Laser Engraved, hand finished Pilot Logbook Covers marry traditional hand dyeing with the contemporary laser engraving (pilot wings and name). Sparrowhawk's Leather Artisan, Fiona Ritchie hand rubs selected coloured leather dyes to highlight the leather hides unique grain, and make the laser engraving "pop".

 

 

Both covers being from Sparrowhawk Leather's Premium Pilot Logbook Cover Collection, for herself, Rachel chose the eye-catching Azure Blue with Black Spine and Back, and Butterscotch hand stitching for herself. For husband Greg, she chose the simple and stylish Oxford Mahogany with Bone hand stitching. As an added feature she added pen holders to both covers.

Greg is now the proud owner of a new flight book cover! He is a person of few words but I could tell he was surprised and pretty happy.
